Heated seat cushion for stadium, hunting and camping
A heated seat cushion is a padded cushion with a heating element, powered by a battery or power bank. It blocks the cold of a metal stadium seat or a damp bench. Most have three heat levels.
Which types exist?
Battery heated cushion
Charge at home, switch on when you sit down. Three levels, often 2–3 hours on high and 5+ on low.
USB heated cushion
Plugs into the power bank you already own. Often slightly milder. Runtime depends on your power bank.
Cushion with heat pad
A pocket for a single-use, air-activated heat pad. Silent, no charging. Not adjustable, and you need a supply of pads.
Insulated foam cushion
No heating at all. It keeps the cold of the seat away. Light and cheap, but it only holds your own warmth.

How to choose
- Power. An included battery, or USB for your own power bank.
- Heat levels. Three is the norm; the top setting is often around 55 °C (about 130 °F) at the element.
- Size and folding. Big enough for a stadium seat, foldable to carry.
- Underside. Water-resistant for damp benches and grass.
- Extras. A carry handle, a backrest, or a battery that also charges your phone.
Safety basics. Look for CE marking and overheating protection. Switch it off when you leave, and never sit on a cushion with a damaged cable. Not while sleeping unless the manufacturer allows it, and not for small children. Heat pads can get hot: follow the pack.
