Is heated clothing safe?
Yes, as long as you use a certified product correctly. Gløde vests run on 5 volts via USB, the same voltage as a phone charger, and are CE certified. The Høgge Women and the Øney also have built-in overheating protection. Always remove the power bank before washing, and switch the vest off when you sleep. We don’t recommend heated clothing for young children. If you feel heat less well, for example because of diabetes, or if you’re pregnant, check with your doctor first.
